Nordic Walking Schedule of Walks for your diary

When you have learned how to Nordic Walk there are a variety of walks available to choose from to put what you have learned into practice:

Regular weekly walks

Wednesday – 10.30 am – 11.45 am – Holyrood Park

For those who are looking for something a little more energetic and enjoy walking in the hills. You will require a reasonable level of fitness for this.

Thursday – 10 am – 11 am – Portobello Beach

Thursday – 12 pm – 1 pm – Meadows

Easy level walk in the Meadows – mostly flat but with the option of some inclines on Bruntsfield Links NB This is a specific session for those who have Parkinson’s Disease and is free of charge. Please contact Parkinson’s UK Edinburgh Branch direct for more information and to book.

For those who like walking on the flat and who love the sea. Easy level of walking.

Weekend walks

For those who like to walk a little further – usually over 1.5 to upto 3/4 hours. There is a mixture of walks for different levels from easier flat walks to more energetic hill walks.
